Dear Members and Future Professionals,
The Student Development Committee of IIA India – Delhi Branch is dedicated to shaping the next generation of internal audit professionals. Our mission for 2024-25 is to bridge the gap between academia and the profession by fostering awareness and interest in the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) program. Through targeted initiatives, we aim to showcase the value of internal auditing as a rewarding career path and empower aspiring professionals with the tools to succeed.
Our focus lies in promoting the CIA program within educational institutions, collaborating with colleges and universities to organize impactful events, and hosting awareness sessions to guide students on their journey toward becoming CIAs. We are committed to sharing success stories, providing mentorship opportunities, and offering resources to help students and young professionals navigate their career paths with confidence.

The Student Development Committee is committed to nurturing the next generation of internal audit professionals. Our mission is to bridge the gap between academia and the profession by fostering awareness and interest in the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) program among students and young professionals.
Key Activities:

Promotion of the CIA Program : Actively introducing the CIA designation within educational institutions, highlighting its value and career potential.

Collaborations with Academia : Partnering with colleges and universities to organise at least four major events annually, focused on promoting the CIA program and career opportunities in internal auditing.

Awareness Sessions : Hosting workshops, webinars and interactive sessions to guide students on the benefits and process of obtaining the CIA designation.

Engagement with Future Professionals : Encouraging students to explore internal audit as a rewarding career path by sharing success stories, resources and mentorship opportunities.
Through these initiatives, the Student Development Committee empowers aspiring auditors with knowledge, resources and a clear roadmap to success.
